ABOUT

Built by an engineer, for engineers

Workforce was born from a simple question: what if AI agents could coordinate like a real engineering team — with memory, judgment, and the tools to ship production code?

OUR STORY

From experimentation to orchestration

When AI coding tools started gaining traction, most developers experimented with single-agent assistants — one AI, one task, one prompt at a time. But building real software requires coordination. Code reviews, ticket management, CI checks, context switching, task handoffs. A single agent can't do that. A team can.

Workforce was built to solve this. Written from the ground up in Rust, it's a platform that turns language models into autonomous engineering teammates — with persistent memory, security controls, and deep integrations across the tools teams already use. It was battle-tested across real production codebases before it was ever shown to anyone. The result is infrastructure that doesn't just assist developers — it ships alongside them.

Everything you need to know about deploying Workforce.

Everything you need to know about deploying Workforce.

Who built Workforce?

Workforce was designed and built by a principal engineer with deep experience across healthcare, e-commerce, and real estate platforms. The runtime is written from scratch in Rust — no frameworks, no wrappers, no shortcuts.

Why Rust?

Performance, safety, and reliability. Rust's memory safety guarantees and zero-cost abstractions make it ideal for a system that coordinates multiple autonomous agents across production infrastructure. It's the same reason companies like Cloudflare and Discord chose Rust for critical systems.

Is Workforce a startup or an established company?

Workforce is built by Driftwerk Ltd, a UK-based company. We're intentionally small and focused — shipping product, not raising rounds. Our customers are production teams, not pitch decks.

How many customers do you have?

Workforce is deployed across production codebases in healthcare, fashion tech, and real estate. We onboard a small number of teams each quarter to ensure high-touch implementation and support.

Can I talk to an existing customer?

We can arrange reference conversations on a case-by-case basis during the evaluation process. Book a demo and we'll discuss what makes sense for your team.

What's the licensing model?

Annual platform licenses with implementation support included. Pricing is based on team size and scope. LLM API costs are borne directly by the customer — you control your own spend.

Where is my data stored?

Your infrastructure. Workforce is self-hosted by default. Your code, your data, your environment. We never see your codebase. LLM calls go directly from your infrastructure to the providers you choose.
